Hi! I'm Richard Foster, a Jamaican-born emerging contemporary artist living in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. My passion is embracing positive, optimistic thoughts and feelings, and expressing them through my art with bright, happy colours, tones, shapes and ideas.
I'm a self-taught artist. I draw from a lifetime of experiences, choosing to focus on the positive, inspired by the bright colours of my native tropical island, and its casual, cheerful lifestyle. My work is intentionally uncomplicated, invoking the happy playful inner child in all of us. All my paintings are hand painted, not digitally produced. I hope that the satisfaction and joy that my clients and I get from my work will have the same uplifting effect on the emotions and well being of my viewers. Thank you for visiting my website. |
